The dutch currency is the Guilder. This is represented by "f", "ff" and on occasions "Hfl", "Dfl" or even "NLG".
Guilders are divided into 100 cents.
Coins are available in 5,10 & 25cents; 1,2.50 & 5fl
Notes are available in 5,10,25,50 & 100fl

Money can be exchanged at any bank or post office in Amsterdam  at a published exchange rate. Outside normal hours, the GWK in the Central Railway Station is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
